A Wise Choice: Investing in Renter’s Insurance

When it come to investing in renter’s insurance, it doesn’t take long to find the right quote for you. What does take a good minute is trying to replace what you may have lost due to a natural disaster, petty theft, or whatever else may come your way.
If you have wisely invested in renter’s insurance, you don’t have much to worry about. Many people don’t take advantage of renter’s insurance because of a common myth: the cost. Renter’s insurance is surprisingly inexpensive. For a small fee a month, normally between $10 and $20, you can save thousands of dollars in case you have to replace your belongings. In all honesty, I’d much rather pay about $10 a month than to pay over $200 to replace a lost television or over $500 for a new laptop.
Renter’s insurance also covers liability for anything you’re found negligent to have caused an accident or a fire. Basic renters insurance, may run you about $100 a year. In my opinion, that’s a small price to pay for piece of mind and the reassurance of securing your precious belongings. This video shows what happens when people choose not to invest.
How do you get renter’s insurance? National insurance sites like State Farm and All State all carry policies. You can also visit the Bridgewater Apartments leasing office, and they’ll be happy to get you on your way to a higher piece of mind in no time.

You are on an island in the middle of a lake. The lake is in a remote part of the country and there has never been a bridge connecting the island to the mainland.
Every day a tractor and wagon gives hay rides around the island. Puzzled as to how the tractor had gotten onto the island, you ask around and find out that the tractor was not transported to the island by boat or by air. Nor was it built on the island.
Explain how the tractor got there?
If you can figure this one out, post your answer as a comment on the blog!

I can hear those words being spoken now from a member of the Alabama Vipers, the states Arena Football team. A little schedule shuffling around helped the Vipers to land a gig on national TV for the June 11th game.
The Vipers will appear on the NFL Network for the first time when they play host the Tampa Bay Storm at the Von Braun Center at 7:05 p.m. So now, your very own Alabama Vipers will be featured on tthe NFL Network’s Friday Night Arena Football League Game of the Week.
Be sure to tune it!

Looking for a boost to the middle of your week? Why not take in a baseball game, the ultimate sign of summer.
Today at 7 pm at the Joe Davis Stadium, the Huntsville Stars are taking the field against the Birmingham Barons. Looking for a special offer? You can get two Oscar Mayer hot dogs for $2 every Wednesday. Everyone knows there’s nothing like a ballpark hot dog.
Tickets are only $8 for home games. If you really want some excitement, you should attend the game this Saturday where there will be a fireworks show directly following the game.
Fireworks, baseball, and hot dogs…smells like summer!
Have you ever been to a Stars game?
Annnnndddd Stretch 2, 3, 4….Workout That Lower Back!

About 3 years ago, I pulled a muscle in my back when dancing. Though I’ve had medication and massages, nothing (except for a good bout of physical therapy which I don’t want to pay for) will cure it. One thing that I know a physical therapist will prescribe is various exercies for my back. I figured that I could turn to the internet in my time of need, and it didn’t dissapoint.
I found an article that lists various lower back exercises. Since trying these, I haven’t had a really bad spasm in eight months, which is amazing seeing as I would have them every two. If you’re suffering from lower back pain, hopefully these’ll help you like they helped me.
Be careful though, jerky movements are NOT the way to go. Trust me, I know.
How do you workout your lower back?

What do you do to motivate yourself? Do you have a certain speech you give yourself every morning? Do you stick post-it notes everywhere with motivation words on it? A friend of mine has taught her little girl to wake up everyday and say, “Am I still gorgeous?” Sure it may be a little vain, but at least no one can tell that girl that she’s not beautiful.
Just use some of little Jessica’s confidence when you wake up in the mornings. She likes everything about herself, do you?
Fun with Far East Foods @ Shogun!

Located on University Drive, Shogun Japanese Steaks and Sushi is my home away from home! Well, not really; I’m a Georgia native, and I absolutely LOVED going to Benihana’s. Shogun is very similar. And very tasty
.
Shogun is known for cooking teppanyaki style, meaning the meat, seafood, vegetables and rice is prepared on a hibachi grill, right in front of you! Well, if you’re a cool kid it’s prepared right in front of you, you can opt for a regular table though.
This restaurant screams Japanese style with a Japanese bridge, waterfall and Asian-inspired paintings. Does it have the tranquility of a teahouse? Not quite, but the show that the Shogun chefs put on is quite amazing.
Shogun offers more than a dozen meat, seafood and vegetable dinner combinations from teriyaki chicken ($13.95) to shrimp/steak combos ($22.95) to the teppanyaki scallops ($19.95). All dinners start with a very basic salad and an even more basic bowl of soup.
It doesn’t matter what meal I get (though I’m partial to the steak and shrimp, and the seasoned vegetables are spectacular), it’s all good. And Shogun is definitely a place I’d visit again and again…

It’s that season again where the hunt is on to find something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. The only problem that many of us run into is what to get the happy couple.
Most wedding registries are WAY too expensive, (unless the couple registers at the very upscale Targét
), which makes it hard to find that perfect gift. Come on folks, one couple can only have so many toasters.
So what to get them? Well, Real Simple has a list of ideas that would make any couple smile. One in particular that I liked were recycled-felt pillows in customizable color combinations which are also available in block lettering. They are really nice and the perfect accent to their new home.
What great wedding gifts have you seen?
