Prophetic Haircut–Signifys Saints Road to Super Bowl XLIV

New Orleans Saints cornerback Tracy Porter must have known that Lady Luck was on the Saints’ side as he received his haircut a few hours before the biggest game of his life. Three images were being shaved into his head: a Lombardi Trophy, the Louisiana Superdome and “SB44” which stands for Super Bowl 44. A road was used to link the images together, symbolizing the Saints’ road to the big game. I wonder if he’ll get an image of him making that INCREDIBLE interception that made for a 74-yard touchdown when his hair grows back? One could only guess.

Super Bowl Party Recipe Idea!

The big game’s coming up this weekend. Needs ideas for the huge shindig you’re throwing? Well here’s a recipe that’s sure to satisfy any Saints or Colts fan!

Honeyed Chicken Wings

• 1 cup honey
• 1 cup chile sauce
• Salt and ground black pepper to taste
• A bunch of radishes, trimmed, to serve (optional)
• 16 chicken wings
   

These really should be called Last Lick Chicken Wings – anyone who eats them removes every morsel of flavor and sticky meat from the bones. Just watch out that they don’t burn in the oven. They can be made one day in advance, just cover them with plastic wrap and chill until needed.
